Hello and welcome to the Alpengruss Motel and Restaurant Website!

The Alpengruss was founded over 45 years ago by German immigrants as a small ice cream stand. 35 years ago the Motel and Restaurant were incorporated into the business.

Since 1987, Ruth and Wolfgang Dirnberger, of Danish and Austrian descent, have owned and operated the Alpengruss. The Alpengruss Motel and Restaurant is run as a family business and is well known in the community and surrounding areas for its excellent German cuisine and famous for its breakfast including the homemade brown toast. Price range for breakfast is $5-$10, Lunch $8-$12 and Dinner $12-$20. We are also open in the afternoon in case you felt like having a pint of German draft or a piece of fresh baked pie.

Come in and try our famous omellettes, soup and bread or jager schnitzel. We will be happy to serve you!

The Restaurant is open daily at 8am for you enjoyment. Reservations recommended for lunch and dinner. Sorry we don't take breakfast reservations so arrive early!

The motel has 16 rustic, European style rooms available at $80 for one king size bed or two double beds. Some rooms available with fireplace. *Plus applicable tax.
